North Platte's downtown businesses will soon have some new neighbors. Several departments at Great Plains Regional Medical Center have been displaced because of the hospital's expansion project, and as a result, their offices will be moved to 214 E. 5th St.
Marcia Baumann, vice president of growth and development, said a total of 65 employees would be relocated. They represent the accounting, business development, patient financial services, human resources and education, marketing, foundation and outreach departments.
