Man charged with 4 counts terroristic threats

A North Platte man is in custody after threatening North Platte Police Officers and hospital staff on Saturday.

Joseph Burke, 50, is charged with four counts of terroristic threats, a class four felony, and driving under the influence, after an incident in the Wendy's parking lot, at 1202 S. Jeffers on Saturday. According to a release from the police department, officers were called to the scene for a disturbance and found Burke, who was allegedly intoxicated driving a vehicle.
