Brain injuries and long-term psychological affects are becoming more prevalent in soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan, accordingto the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska.

To help the community understand what many veterans are battling when they come home, BIANE is hosting a "Responding to Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Needs of Veterans" seminar Thursday and Friday at the Mid-Plains Center for Enterprise, 1101 Halligan Drive, in North Platte.
