Anna Belle (Price) Zoerb, 87, passed away Feb. 5, 2012, at the Callaway Good Samaritan Center with her husband by her side.

Anna Belle was born on July 25, 1924, on a farm near Callaway to Bryan and Julia Anna Pitkin Price. She attended Brown Valley Country School through the eighth grade and then went to Callaway Public School where she graduated in 1942. Following graduation, Anna Belle taught in three different Country Schools.

She met Bill in Callaway and they were united in marriage on June 1, 1946. They lived and worked on the farm west of Callaway. This union brought forth five children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Anna Belle was a great cook and enjoyed having family and friends over. She also loved gardening, sewing and baking cakes.

She was a member of the Callaway United Methodist Church and H.H.H. Club.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Bill, of Callaway; four daughters, Beverly (Jerry) Witthuhn, of Omaha, Barbara (Tim) Thompson, of Phoenix, Ariz., Sandra (Ray) Thompson, of Gentry, Ark., and Elaine (Paul) Howsden, of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Jasen (Michelle) Witthuhn, of Omaha, Jimmy Thompson, of Phoenix, Ariz., James Thompson, of Tuscon, Ariz., Mellanny Thompson, of Gentry, Ark., Charity (Kyle) Nelson, of Lincoln; five great-grandchildren, Justin and Lexis Witthuhn, of Omaha, James Jr., Kaylea Jo and Payton Thompson, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Linda Price, of Kearney; Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Wayne Everett; one grandson, Jered Witthuhn; two sisters, Bonnie Schuman, Mary Lane; and one brother, Bryan Price.

Services will be Friday, Feb. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Callaway with Pastor Roger Gillming and Pastor Dean Haidle, officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
