OGALLALA — Every year the Big Mac Kiwanis Club gathers the artificial flowers from the Cemetery that will otherwise be picked up and disposed of. The club stores them until May of the next year and then offers them to anyone who might want to decorate the graves of passed loved ones. The flowers are in great shape and you can select the bouquet of your choice for a donation to Big Mac Kiwanis.

Following is the schedule that the Kiwanis members will be available for anyone to come pick out the bouquets that they may want to use at the grave site of their loved ones this year.

The east side of the old middle school is the location to get your flowers. Look for the signs by Safeway and the old middle school.

The schedule is as follows:

» From 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

» From 5 to 7 p.m. May 23-24

» From 9 to 11 a.m. May 25.

If anyone from out of town would want flowers taken to the graves of their loved ones, contact Rock Skinner at 308-284-2412 with the name and grave location and the club will gather a bouquet and take it out and place it on the grave at the Ogallala cemetery for a $20 donation to Big Mac Kiwanis.
