Heather Ann Kouba and Shane Alan Irish exchanged wedding vows on July 15, 2017, at the Faith Presbyterian Church in La Vista with the Rev. Byron Petry officiating.

Heather and Shane were given in marriage by their parents, David and Marge Kouba of North Platte and Terry and Cathi Irish of La Vista.

Matron of honor for Heather was Laura Poe of North Platte. Bridesmaids were Anne Odom of Omaha, Stephanie Langner of Farragut, Iowa, and Tamra Lally of Blair. The flower girls for Heather were Allie Hytrek of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Charlotte Kouba of Gothenburg and Rylee Poe of North Platte.

Best man for Shane was Shad Irish of Papillion. Groomsmen were Steve Spring of Mundelein, Illinois, Jason Thomas of Papillion and Nate Danze of Omaha. Ring bearer was Dylan Ruehle of Gillette, Wyoming.

Ushers for the couple were Mike Petersen and Jim Young, both of Omaha, Jud Kussman of Papillion and Paul Harney of Blair.

After a destination wedding trip to Ireland, Heather and Shane are at home in Bellevue. Heather is an eighth-grade language arts teacher at Plattsmouth Schools, and Shane is an accountant at Diversified Financial.
