Thirteen minors were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol early Saturday after sheriff’s deputies were called to a loud party on East Hall School Road.
The call came in at 2:20 a.m., and the caller indicated that minors were at the party. Deputies found about 30 people at the party, and cars were parked in the road, according to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported they saw several minors outside and inside the residence who appeared to be consuming alcoholic beverages.
After meeting with the subjects, deputies found that 13 of the individuals were under the age of 21 and consuming alcoholic beverages.
Citations for minor in possession of alcohol were issued to these individuals, and the person in charge of the residence was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
