Nebraska State Patrol has released the names of those involved in a head on collision on Interstate 80 between Hershey and Sutherland Thursday.

Tee Whited and Rio Whited, both area residents, were severely injured in the accident and taken to Great Plains Health. Tee Whited was driving a truck that the NSP said was traveling west on the eastbound lanes of I-80 that collided with a semi-tractor trailer driven by Felix Serebrian of North Carolina.

Both Tee and Rio Whited were not wearing seat belts, the NSP said, and alcohol was a factor.
