Car crash 6-16

A rollover wreck left I-80 eastbound in one-lane traffic for an hour Saturday afternoon. Four individuals in the wreck were transported to Great Plains Health with minor injuries.

A rollover wreck occurred around 4 p.m Saturday at mile marker 175 on eastbound Interstate 80. The accident included a 31 year-old female mother, a 21 year-old female niece, and two daughters, ages 2 and 4.

The wreck resulted in minor injuries and everyone was wearing a seat belt. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

The vehicle was seen by witnesses to lose control and roll over three to four times before crashing into the median, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

All individuals in the car were taken to the Great Plains Health by ambulance. The Sheriff’s office said there appeared to be no broken bones or injuries just potential cuts from debris.
