Larry “LJ” Keith, 64, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died Feb. 10, 2019, in Gallup, New Mexico, while on his way to Phoenix to enjoy his favorite pastime, golfing.
He was born to Elmer “Hank” and Marion Keith on Feb. 21, 1954, in North Platte, where he attended school. After graduating, he hired on the Union Pacific until his retirement in Cheyenne in 2013.
He enjoyed camping and fishing. He enjoyed the outdoors so much, he built a water feature to bring nature closer to his home. But his real passion was golf. He would go anywhere to play 18 holes.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Keith, of North Platte; son Gary (Angel) and two granddaughters, of Cheyenne; daughter Dannille Keith and grandson, of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother Doug, of North Platte; and many more family members, friends and golfing pals.
