Stephen A. Little, 50, formerly of North Platte, died June 11, 2019, in Omaha.

Steve was born in North Platte on June 11, 1969.

Steve was passionately involved with the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid runner and outdoorsman. Above all, he loved Jesus and his family. Steve found out a year ago that he had a brain aneurysm. He had multiple surgeries and had been in recovery since then. He went to embrace our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on his 50th birthday. If you or someone you know has persistent headaches, please seek medical attention as soon as possible.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marla Little, and father, Dennis Little.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Elace (Anthony) Pontiero and Erica Little; stepdaughter, Jillian McClenahan; grandchildren, Cecilia and unborn baby Pontiero; mother, Susan Little; sister, Tracie (Todd) Barkley; brothers-in-law, Michael (Lisa) Piccolo, Fred (Krista) McClenahan Jr., Rob McClenahan and Don (Kathy) McClenahan; sister-in-law, Jayne McClenahan; first parents-in-law, Frank and Sherri Piccolo; parents-in-law Fred and Jean McClenahan Sr.; nieces, nephews, many friends and Travis, his beloved puggle.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the dedication and outstanding care that was afforded to Stephen by the University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Neurological Surgery and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Omaha.

Memorials are suggested to Live On Nebraska (formerly Nebraska Organ Recovery).

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Omaha. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. and a rosary service at 7 p.m. John A. Gentleman Mortuaries is in charge of arrangements.
