Tanner Theadore Mollendor, 38, passed away June 10, 2019, at the Sheridan County Health Complex in Hoxie, Kansas.

He was born on April 4, 1981, in Holyoke, Colorado, to Theadore and Kristee (Kemper) Mollendor. Tanner graduated in 2000 from Julesburg High School in Julesburg, Colorado; and later from the welding program at Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland. Tanner was blessed with five children: Keegen, River, Lillyin and Addysin Mollendor, and Allie Schmidt.

Tanner loved music and drumming, fishing with his kids, and riding motorcycles. His job was his passion next to his love for his children and fianceƩ. Tanner was a hugger and could always be found helping others.

He is preceded in death by is his paternal grandparents, Phillip and Mary Mollendor; and maternal grandfather, Orville Kemper.

Tanner is survived by his wife, Brittany Mullins-Mollendor; son, River of Hoxie; father, Theadore (Toni) Mollendor of Julesburg; mother, Kristee Mollendor of Colorado; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Kemper of Julesburg; grandparents, Don and Lora Reuter of Holyoke, Colorado; mother- and fathers-in-law, Cara (Kent) Priel of North Platte, and Ted Miller III of Scottsbluff; children of Tanner Mollendor and Mandi Miller, Allie (Tim) Schmidt of Pennsylvania, and Lillyin, Addysin, and Keegen Mollendor of Brewster; and brothers, Dane Mollendor of Julesburg and Brandon (Taylor) Reuter of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Tanner was a hardworking, loving, and dedicated family man. He loved what he did and did what he loved. Although our hearts are weighing heavy during this difficult time, we can cherish the memories of the time that was his and the life that he lived. Tanner will be greatly missed; his life, his love and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Unreel Event Center, 4684 West Highway 30, North Platte, NE 69101. Food/cash bar will be served. The family would love for you to come and share your memories of Tanner. Memorials are suggested in memory of Tanner to Tanner Mollendor Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, PO Box 987, Hoxie, Kanas 67740.
