AZL Brewers Gold started the scoring in the first inning. After reaching base on a walk, Larry Ernesto advanced to second on a ground out by Felix Valerio and then scored on a single by Matthew Mika.

Trailing 6-2, the AZL Brewers Blue cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Danny Casals hit an RBI single and then scored on a two-run triple by Victor Vargas.

Brayan Salaya (1-4) got the win in relief while AZL Brewers Blue starter Karlos Morales (0-2) took the loss in the Arizona League game.

Despite the loss, AZL Brewers Blue is 3-1 against AZL Brewers Gold this season.
